Alannah RossCommercial strategy and partnerships for brands shaping the future of health, experience and how people live
Turning emerging behavioural shifts into commercial advantage
-
Where healthcare meets behaviour, lifestyle and identity — and where the right partnerships create disproportionate first-mover advantage.
I work with brands and organisations redefining how people engage with their health — from women’s health and preventative care to longevity and integrated wellness. Shaping new categories, translating clinical and behavioural insight into market ready strategy, and supporting consumer health brands in building trust, relevance and long term engagement. -
Where brands become places — and products become part of how people live and connect.
I advise on the design and positioning of experiences across hospitality, retail and cultural community environments, driving relevance and deeper engagement. -
My work starts here — with understanding how people are changing: what they value, how they live, and how they define themselves. I translate those behavioural signals into strategic direction for brands, informing product development, positioning and go-to-market decisions before they become obvious to the market.
-
The partnership infrastructure and commercial frameworks that take a brand from launch to lasting market presence — retail channel development, distribution partnerships, go-to-market execution and market entry across EMEA, APAC and the UAE.
Areas of Expertise
These are the categories where behaviour is shifting fastest — and where foresight-led strategy and real commercial experience create the most disproportionate advantage.
Where foresight becomes strategy — and strategy becomes action
I work with founders and leadership teams to identify the right partnerships, build the commercial frameworks, and activate the relationships that allow brands to move first — in consumer health, wellness, wearables and experiential sectors globally.
For fifteen years I've spotted the signals most organisations react to too late — and turned them into partnerships, go-to-market execution and market entry strategy before the window closes.
My work is grounded in structured foresight methodology — STEEP analysis, scenario planning, horizon scanning — applied through real commercial operating experience. I've owned multi-million pound buying budgets, closed enterprise B2B agreements, brand partnerships and retail distribution deals across the UAE, Europe and the US, and spent over a decade at WGSN converting consumer intelligence into decisions that moved markets for 35+ global clients including some of the world's largest CPG and retail brands.
I've founded and scaled companies in femtech and women's health ahead of mainstream adoption, held C-suite and COO roles, and led teams across EMEA, APAC and MENA — advising organisations from early-stage ventures to £500M+ global brands.
The result: the right partnerships, earlier moves, and the commercial infrastructure to make them land.

Ways to Work Together
I work with founders and leadership teams as a partnerships-led commercial strategist — identifying the right alliances, building the frameworks, and driving the commercial execution that creates lasting market advantage.
-
For leadership teams who need an ongoing senior strategic partner — embedded across foresight, channel strategy, partnerships and commercial direction on a retainer basis.
Particularly suited to international health technology and wellness brands entering the UAE and GCC who need an embedded partnerships and commercial lead without a full time hire.
-
Defined scope, clear deliverables, fixed timeline. Market entry strategies, go-to-market plans, foresight reports, brand launch programmes, partnership frameworks.
A clear beginning, middle and end — with the rigour of someone who has owned the budget and managed the launch.
-
Senior strategic input when you need it, without a long term commitment.
Advisory days, stakeholder workshops, sprint sessions, or a focused commercial review — on demand.
-
Structured working sessions to unblock strategy, align leadership teams, stress test direction, or accelerate a specific commercial or market decision.
Half-day or full-day formats, in-person or remote.
How I Support You
Each engagement is tailored, but typically spans the following areas:
Strategic Direction & Foresight
Applying structured STEEP analysis, scenario planning and horizon scanning to define the right market, the right moment, and the right move — grounded in 15 years of reading consumer signals before they become obvious.
End-to-end Product Development
From category insight to finished product — category strategy, supplier sourcing, design direction and buying for consumer brands building at scale.
Partnership & Ecosystem Design
Identifying the right partners, structuring the commercial framework, and activating alliances that create genuine competitive advantage — across brands, retailers, distributors, platforms and ecosystem partners. From first conversation to signed agreement and beyond.
Go-to-Market & Experience Strategy
The commercial and experiential launch infrastructure that takes a product or brand from ready to known — channel strategy, market entry, distribution partnerships and the brand moments that make it culturally relevant.
‘I don't just define strategy — I help build the partnership ecosystem required to deliver it.’

Hospitality & Regenerative Living Futures Report
We’re entering a new era where hospitality developments are no longer judged solely by location, size, or service—but by the systems they regenerate, the approach to healthy living they restore, and the communities they uplift.
The question forward-thinking developers, investors, and operators are now asking is:
“How can we embed regenerative living into the core of hospitality—so guests leave better than they arrived, and the land thrives in the process?”
